What is an alfa cat and what kind of behavior do these cats posses?

Answers:
an ALPHA(not alfa cat is the cat who is in charge of all the other cats, kinda of like the leader in a wolf pack, an alpha cat tends to be very dominant to the other cats(licking the top of the head, never chowing his belly to other cats etc.) I have a cat who's alpha in out group and he takes full charge, breaking up fights amoung other cats and starting some himself(like when he feels its his turn to sit in the window, I wouldn't worry about it, alpha cats are not dif. then subordinate cats.
fix him!
a leader, strong and stubborn
In any group of animals (including animals and humans together) there will be someone who is dominant. With two cats one will always be more dominant, no matter how slightly. They are the 'leader' of the group and take control over the rest, kinda like guiding them. They will keep the others in check generally, they'll do things first, they'll dominate and discipline the rest.
My alpha male is the cat the others come to to have their heads licked. He does not lick heads!
Wow I actually learned something tonite I never knew this existed.
