What do you do when a cat has matter in its eyes?

Answers:
Are you talking something actually in the eye or goop coming out of the eye ? If it is something in the eye use sterile eye wash and flush the eye and then wipe it gently. If it is goop coming out of the eye the cat needs to see a vet because it probably has an eye infection and will need medicine to clear it up .

and clean the outer lines of the cats eyes
but do not neglect this matter
my cats baby has got something in his eyes
and he close it almost the whole time
i kept doing this
and now he is much better

Hi. You will need to keep the eyes clean. Put a warm washcloth on the eye.Be very gentle,slowly wipe them .
