What do you feel when your mom tells you that your pet has to leave for your your own good will you acept it?

Answers:
yes cause mothers know everything and she probably ran over it with the mini van and wont confess
my mom tried to get me to give my puppy up for adoption cause we have cat %26 when she got"mandy"-my puppy now dog- she was really happy %26 thought it was nice some guys were selling them for money for college %26 i just couldn't let her go cause when do you come across a dog that ;has some pitbull in her, protects you like a guard dog, snuggles with you to watch tv wont byte you but will with every1 else, wakes you up in the morning, looks exactlly like benji (the famous tv dog) well anyway back to the point, i thought it sucked!!!! I GOT TO KEEP HER ANYWAY!!!
You better accept it.Do you have another place to live?
Since this is what your mom is telling you, you don't have much choice. Mom runs the show, not you. When you are old enough to have a place of your own, then you make the rules. Your home is not a democracy, it is a benevolent dictatorship with your mom in charge. Seriously, by discussing this with your mom and accepting what she has to say you will be showing her a level of maturity that can only get you extra "points" with your mom and ammunition for your next discussion about something else. Moms listen better when you can take a mature point of view. Pretty soon it will be a habit.
I would feel sad and upset. It is hard as you are still young and your mom is in control.perhaps you could help to place the cat somewhere...do you have a friend or relative who will take it...then you might get to visit.

I am sorry you do have to accept it..you could ask why...but in the end she is the one who makes the decisions. Sorry and good luck...it is hard to go through this..I have had to in the past and it hurts.
Why would your mom make you do this? If it has to do with care of the pet, can you write up an agreement that you will take care? Or if she doesnt like pets, why did she let you get one to begin with. I agree, since your parents don't seen to value animals and think they are "returnable" (a terrible lesson to teach a child, shame on her, I want to know the reason), then try to find someone you know to take the pet so you can visit. And please don't learn that pets are something you can just throw away, once you get one you should take care of it for life. Good luck -- when you are an adult you will be free to get pets. And you will get over this, my parents used to do that too. Now I have a lot of pets and I am in control. Good luck.
