What could I do for a feral cat that I've been feeding a little but daily, I'm travelling soon.?

I don't think there's anywhere to put out a cat trap (to take him to a no kill shelter). None of my friends have a heart enough to feed him, or can't for various reasons. Any suggestions?
Answers:
Check in your phone book or online for feral cat programs in your area who would come out and trap the cat. A no kill shelter would be best if they'll take a feral. Otherwise maybe just leave out a lot of food for him while you're away.
Awww, you're so kind to worry about this kitty.
How about one of those pet feeders that you can fill up with an entire bag of cat food, and it dispenses it as the kitty eats it? Maybe that would work.
Bless you Sweetie.
He's a feral, most likely, you aren't the only one feeding him (believe it or not, more people feed feral cats than you'd think), and even if you are, he'll thrive without your addition.
Also, like ''gypsy'' mentioned, they have feeders that provide food for multiple days. They're good hunters (and wouldn't do good, even in a no-kill shelter, unless they specialized in feral cat rehabilitation/socialization).
ask your parents if they would or take it to a farm if you know one near you where you can get it back when you come home.
Cats are instinctive that means that they will only go some where the food is plentiful... if there is no food he will just leave and find another person to feed him... he is a stray so he knows where to go not to be mean but you might not be the only one feeding him in your whole town he might have like 4 or 5 people he can fall back on cats are very smart he will not starve I guarentee it
Don't take it to a farm. Farmers get tired of having unwanted animals just dropped on their doorsteps. Plus usually they have to get rid of the animal to keep their livestock safe from disease and bad behaviors. Do what others suggested, leaved an automatic feeder out. Plus, most shelters have an animal catching service. Call your local shelter to find out.
