What airlines let you take kittens on in a carrier?

what airlines let you take a kitten in a cat carrier on the plane with you NOT under the plane.i am going to my moms for the summer and am taking my kitten...she is 7 weeks old and is fully vaccinated
Answers:
Jet Blu allows you to take small pets "in cabin." That means, the pet flys with you but in a special kennel that fits under your seat. I know of no airline that will allow you to just keep your kitten, puppy, hamster, rabbit, mouse, bird in your arms during the flight becuase of the other passengers. Unless of course you are blind and you have a guide dog. If you do find an airline that will allow you to keep your kitty on your lap during a flight, then let me know.
I believe most airlines will allow you to take an animal as carry-on as long as it will fit under your plane seat. You can try going to some of the airline sites .. ie: american continental delta united .. and see what their information suggests. I think you may also need to show proof of vaccinations. I think it may be under $100 also. You also most likely need to call the airline directly to make the plans. :)
She isn't fully vaccinated yet. She will need a Rabies vaccination to comply with the law in many states, and to get a health certificate that allows her to go on an airplane from one state to another. Rabies vaccinations are normally not given to kittens less than eight weeks old.

Every airline requires a health certificate issued by a vet after examining the pet within a certain period of time before the flight, often no more than 10 days before the departure date.

Each airline has regulations about transporting pets, either in the passenger compartment or in the hold. Some don't permit pets at all. Go online or call the airline you will be flying and get that information. If you turn up at the airport and don't have everything just right, they will not allow the pet on the plane.
None , because what happens if another passenger in the cabin is allergic to cats? The airline could face a law suit. They must go in cargo.
American will and I think United as well. You just need to have all her paper work from the vet. Your vet will also need to give you a health certificate. Get that just before you leave, they are no good after I think it's ten days, or then you'll need a new one. Then you need to get a new one when you fly home. You may want to get her a micro chip too while you're at your vet's office. Puppies and kittens should not travel until they are 8 weeks, but your kitten will be even older by the time you leave. Your vet will have all the answers for you. Have a great trip;^)
Last summer, I used United Airlines to transport my cat with me and she stayed under the seat in front of me. But you have to pay an extra $80 each way
AMERICAN AIRLINES,LAX
The best thing to do is call the airline you're planning on using. Most will allow you to take them on board as long as the carrier will fit under the seat like any other carry-on bag. Some require an additional charge others don't. Just make sure you put something it's used to or has your smell on it in the carrier (one of your shirts-unwashed- for example) this helps keep them calmer.
