We have a cat that had kittens in our attic and we do not know how to get them out. Any tricks?

Is momma cat still there or has she left the scene? If she is still nursing them, then I'd wait awhile. Once she stops nursing and leaves, those kitties will be very hungry and will eventually come when there is food. You may still have to outsmart them and it is going to be a lot of work but it can be done. If they are feral it will be that much more difficult because they will be innately afraid.

You can set a little animal trap but I am not sure how humane that is ... if you do, make sure the trap is appropriate and that it won't fall on their little legs or feet and injure the babies. Their bones are still quite soft.

I remember as a child hearing meowing sounds inside the garage wall ... a cat had babies in our attic and somehow they fell down a hole near a stud and were trapped between the sheet-rock. My parents cut the sheet-rock open and there were about 5 kittens in there ... I think one of the parents had to have been feral because one of the kittens was wild and biting and we needed to use a towel to get it out. lol Then we walked from house to house with the babies in a doll cradle, trying to find takers. This was the 1960s ... :-)

Food always works on cats
yah, leave em be and set a saucer of milk and some food up there for ur cat until she's ready to come down. Just come up often to check on them and soon they'll get used to u and u can then take them down
food, any mommie wants food, try some tuna, just open it and put it up there and get a friend with a net and a pet carrier. if you get the kittens, the mother wll follow
Make friends by bringing them food and water (not milk). Talk to her and see how she is getting in and out of the attic, after that try to make friends with her. Watch where she goes so you can see the kittens are. Don't use a trap on the kittens, they are to little and a trap can break a kittens back. If you work with mama first she will trust you let you see her kittens. Good Luck
Just leave the door cracked open, that is if you have a door. She will move them when she is ready. Even if you don't, she will still move them when she is ready or too hot.
Do you HAVE to move them? She picked that place because that is where she felt the babies would be safest.
There are no tricks that I know of that would entice her to move her babies if she didn't want to. At least no humane tricks!
I found that with mine that they love to hear the sound of a bell thats on one of their toys. you could see if they would come for that but if they are still young then they will be ok because the mother feeds them but you could also call the vet or the shelter and they always have ideas how to solve those kinds of problems.make sure you know how many kittens are there before you give up because if 3 came down say and what about there was still another one there and you did not know, that would be bad. good luck.
Soon the mother cat should move them on her own. Usally they move them twice a week. But you still need to keep a good eye on the mother cat to make sure that you know where she takes them
