Very Pregnate Cat Still hasn't had kittens is something wrong?

I have a 10 month old cat that had been visably preg. for 4-5 weeks now and she is miserable. I was wondering if there is something wrong. I called a vet and they said se would have them when she was ready any advice.
Answers:
You still have some time to go. But when they do come... If she has them at your house be advised that it is very messy, so have plenty of towels on hand. When cats are that young they might have problems cleaning the kittens off after they are born, so you might have to help her. Know that the sooner you handle the kittens the gentler they will be, but be cautious the mother might not want your help. And she might have problems picking up the kittens due to her age.
My cat was estimated at around 9 months when she gave birth, so she was around your cats age. She gave birth in my room, I was there through the entire thing, and I was only 12 at the time. She will need a box of some sort with towels inside, something soft that you dont mind getting ruined. This will need to be in a place she feels safe, but make sure there is room for you to get around. Because of my cat's age she managed to get all four kittens out but after the first 2 she was so occupied with those 2 that she ignored the others as they came out, I had to open the sacks they were in myself. For a few weeks after the kittens are born you need to be close by, do many head counts. I often found lone kittens under the bed, in the linen closet, and other places, all while momma was in the box with the other 3. So keep an eye on them. Make sure to get them all fixed afterward though because momma will go back into heat within a few months and any males in the litter mature at around the same rate, so... you get the picture. Inbred kittens are still cute but not so bright, so just don't.
listen to the vet.
abort the preganacy.. shes to young and sounds as if she dosnt want to be pregnant.. but if you dont.. just make sure to get her fixed asap!! also get the kittens fixed...
Gestation period is about 9 weeks, so she's probably not due yet. Miserable, I understand. Ask any human mother how the last month of pregnancy feels. Not fun!

Cats rarely have difficult pregnancies or trouble giving birth. Let nature take its course.
Make her a bed in a box in a small room by herself with food, water, litter box and leave her alone.
A cat's gestation period is between 60 to 65 days or 9 weeks. Just try to keep her as comfortable as possible and feed her good quality food.
Mother nature will take her course. Make sure the kitty has a dark quiet place to rest, make sure she has plenty of food and water nearby and a litterbox. Gently rub her tummy a couple times a day and talk to her. 9 to 10 weeks is full gestation and if she seems huge she will probably have a litter of 4 or more.
The mother of my male cat looked like a volleyball with legs before she gave birth. It sounds like yours is doing fine. If she starts having symptoms, like her water broke and she's panting a lot for hours upon hours and seems distressed, then it's time to call the vet.
As the vet told me about my cat, (she delayed labor twice and had her kittens two weeks late) she can't hold them in forever... I know that's not helpful advice, but in the end it did pay off. If she's stressed in anyway it's possible that she can delay the onset of labor, my best advice is to try to keep her at ease and she'll have them when she's ready.
I agree with the others its maybe too soon for her to give birth but still keep an eye on her and if you notice anything suspicious then take her to the vet. If your mind is still uneasy with waiting you might want to take her to the vet to get a check up. :)
Congratulations on absolutely irresponsible pet ownership.
Feline gestation is 65 days, that's approx 9 weeks. After she has her kittens, find them good homes at 7 weeks and then have your cat spayed.
Forget about those who said "abort the pregnancy" and "congratulations on irresponsible pet ownership" - just ignore their ignorance.

I completely agree with Hopeless (who totally deserves best answer), everything should be just fine. Make sure that her favorite seculded area is available to her at all times, make sure there's nothing going on around the house to frighten/scare her and she should relax enough to eventually go somewhere and have those babies. But at 4-5 weeks, I'd say you still have about another 3-4 to go. If she's already huge, she could having a healthy sized litter. So just sit back and keep and eye on her for anything extremely strange, give it a while and if she still hasn't had them, then I'd start getting worried. Congrats on all those new kitties and good luck with 'em lol.
