We found two kittens and a mother kitty and took them to the shelter, but they were closed so we left them on the step where they stayed for a few days, but now we found 2 more under the house still and we don't know what to do with them since we stopped by the shelter, the other momma and two kittens are gone...

It's Sunday, so the shelters are going to be closed today. Still, go on the Internet and search for your county's animal care and control office and find their phone number. Give them a call. They may have emergency service on weekends and might be able to pick up the kittens at your house. If not, just wait until tomorrow and take them back to the shelter where you left the mom or to animal care and control. They will handle it from there. In the meantime, if you can, go to the store and get some kitten cat food and see if they'll eat some of it. Give them water too. If they are too small to eat, try taking them to an animal hospital that opens 24/7. They may be able to feed them for you or even keep them.
Also, if you find a cat with kittens again, don't just leave them in front of the shelter if they are closed. By removing the cat from the territory that she knows you are doing her more harm than good. She knew where to hunt and find water where you found her. That's why she chose that place to have her kittens because she felt safe there and by removing her and putting her in a strange place you probably scared her. bring 2 vet immediatly. they mite hav rabies and thatll kill u. or they mite b sik and thatll kill them. 1nce thats over with, if ur interested in keepin them, go ahed unless vet says otherwise.
kittens r just sooooo cute! but if u dont want them, bring 2 pound/animal shelter (either 1).
