What can I do to make my cat stop meowing so much?

I have a vocal cat %26 she cries out so I just pet her %26 talk to her then she is fine but she is more vocal than my other cat so its just the way they are they all have their own personalities

try to play with her or show her more affection when you can %26 they crying will become less

Some breeds are more vocal - namely Burmese and Siamese cats - and that is just their way of communicating. Otherwise have you made sure the cat has what it needs - food, company, clean litter, activities when your not there? Does it seem like its in pain? Does it rub up against you when meowing, then it just wants a pat, or food.

it's because it wnt's something and u have to work out what that is. if it's female she could be in season if she's not been done. or simply could be wanting some fuss off u, food, or to go outside.

As long as your cat is healthy, up to date with shots and vet visits, eats and drinks well then there is really not much you can do. Your cat may just want more of your attention. If you are willing I suggest another playmate for your cat or some new toys and a little attention. I have two cats one doesn't meow ever and then one is very vocal! He meows when he doesn't know where you are or if he's lonely and just wants to talk and be petted. It may seem annoying but talk to your cat and that may reduce some of the meowing.
