What can I do to make it easier on my cat when she goes into heat/?

Answers:
SPAY HER if you dont she will continue to come in to heat

All female cats (or queens) that have not been spayed will come in heat (or estrus) at stages in their lives. This may happen from as young as the age of 4 months and recur seasonally (usually summer seasons with more daylight). The cat stays in heat for normally 4-6 days and during the summer season will come in heat again every 2-3 weeks. These periods may vary widely. The cat will come out of heat and the cycles will end once the cat has mated or the season ends. After giving birth a female cat may come in heat again in as soon as 7 days although this usually happens after about 4 weeks.

The only way your cat can be calmed is when she either mates or goes out of season. That is why the best way to avoid these uncomfortable periods for you and your cat is to have your female cat spayed. Spayed cats won't come into heat and spaying your cat can save you much trouble in the future. Spaying your cat can also prevent medical problems such as uterine infections or breast cancer.
Not alot really best is to get her fixed
get her fixed, so she wont go into heat! Its best for her to cut down on the chances of her getting cancers and than she wont be suffering from being in heat! Go get her fixed asap!
get it another kitty friend ;]
Ask your vet, then get her spayed as soon as possible.
Get her spayed.. That will make things VERY easy for her.
wel my cat was on heat bout 2 days ago and i would leve her in a room with the windo open and put water and food or just get her fixed
Please, please, please get her spayed as soon as you are able. I believe they can still do it even though she is in heat but they might make you wait, I don't remember. But do it as soon as you can. Lots of vets offer specials to spay animals every Saturday or certain times each month. Please make some calls and check it out. Going into heat is hard on them and it's a myth that all animals should go into heat at least once - not true! Just keep her inside where she will be safe and be gentle with her.
The best thing you can do is to have the cat spayed and I will try to help explain why.

For one thing once a female cat becomes a queen (female in heat), she will continously go through heat cycles until impregnated. These cycles can occur and restart every 2-3 weeks.

Once she does go into heat, you will have to put up with constant vocalization, male cats trying to enter the home, constant rubbing and other undesireable behaviors. Spaying your cat will eliminate these behaviors, and helps reduce the risks of mammory cancer.

:)
There is a very simple solution to your problem. Get your cat spayed. She will no longer have to endure being in heat, and she will not give birth to God only knows how many litters of kittens. There are already so many animals without homes. Far too many will never have a home. Please do the responsible thing and get your kitty fixed. It is a win-win situation.:)
