Until my cat is spayed, how do I comfort her when she is in heat?

Keep her in the house but I am afraid comforting her is going to be difficult. Get her a lot of fresh catnip if you can do.

There is nothing you can do to help her, she is going to meow for hours and drive you nuts until she is spayed. I know of a place that alters pets for only like $35 per cat. Contact your local humane society, they can get you help in spaying her.
