I read that vaccines cause it. She had injury 2 months ago; could I.V. or any injection other than vaccines cause it?
Answers:
This happened to my cat when I brought her for her shots. I noticed it 12 hrs after the vet visit. Brought her back to the veet and she diagnosed with fibrosarcoma. Just a reaction to the vaccine, the lump should go away in a day or so. If not, bring kitty to the vet
It actually does not take much to cause a sarcoma in a cat. Vaccines have been implicated in the past at the injection site only. However in your case it is unlikely since a Vet would never give a vaccine injection on the spine.
