Using Cat Litter and Saran wrap can I potty train a CAT?

Ok guys some dude I work with said this could be done cause I was complaing about having to change litter. He said to strech saran wrap under the toilet seat and put a little litter in it and VOILA' all my prayers are answered......sugg... what do you guys think about this?
Answers:
You need to put the litter next to the toilet and gradually over weeks raise it to toilet level.then use a pot in the toilet. if the cat falls in the water then it's all over. It is possible though.research it online.
dude, it sounds a bit risky, but I have seen Meet the Fockers and the cat was peeing in toilet on that, so why not
i dont know but idk if im ritte but put the litter box on top of the toilet i thi9nk {thats wut i was told}

I know theres a potty training tool on the market called Litter Kwitter that the litter pan fits over the toilet seat --- gradually the pan disappears so that only a 'training seat' is left. It seems to work and I was considering buying one myself

Your friend may be right and hell it'd be great to see the cat sitting on the toilet have a look at the link - its BRILLIANT!

FORGOT TO SAY to click watch another video...theres loads of cool cats on there
Saran Wrap vs claws! I don't think so! Weight of cat on Saran Wrap if he steps in the litter. I don't think so.

The pet stores carry a regular toilet training set for cats that you put under the toilet seat to train them to use the toilet (it is made of thick plastic) and has instructions.
It's certainly possible to toilet-train a cat, although it's usually a little more complicated than your co-worked said. In general, it takes patience and a few weeks to get the kitty used to using the toilet... and they generally don't flush!

You can buy potty-training kits, or find instructions online.
