TomCat vs. kittens...Help!?

Around 6 months or so ago we adopted a 4 month old kitten, we named him Belize. He is the TomCat and he is the "head cat" around our house. Recently we adopted a litter of 4 week old kittens and Belize is kind of irritated. At first when he went to them he would hiss, then eventually he started pinning them down. I thought he was just trying to be their adopted daddy, but my dad said that because he is a tomcat, he was trying to kill them. So now we keep the kittens in a separate room away from Belize.

Will our TomCat ever treat the kittens right, or rather without letal thoughts?

Any advice is helpfull.

Dad's right, he will try to kill the kittens, Nature sure can be cruel @ times, but tom cats often kill kittens so the mother will come into heat %26 he can mate her again ( Spay or Neutering is healthier for all animals unless you are a professional - expert breeder too ) ..sorry, just how it is in Nature..but, good news is you've done right by seperating them %26 he will stop this when they get older...old enough to fight with him..they usually only do this with newborn or very young kittens..TC %26 Peace :)
keep the to, cat away from the kittens until they are about the size of him or barely smaller so then he wont see them as kittens. he will see them as cats and if you could get him fixed then he would stop most of his aggressiveness all together but if you cant get him fixed then separate them for a while
i doubt it. he is a male cat and they don't like kittens. he may eventually grow to tolerate them, after they are older, but it's hard to say. get him fixed and see if that helps. it takes some of their instincts to fight, so it may help. kiss the babies for me!!
no he wont. and since hes male t=its his territory and hes defending it. females are more nicer xus their instinct kicks in to nrture them..sorry
